Tales of fortune and fate are brought to life through steel, skins, and strings in this reimagining of Masterworks 2! The NSO features all-star percussion soloist Michelle Colton in the world premiere of Kevin Lau’s The Stars Are Not Aligned. Glinka’s Ruslan and Lyudmila Overture and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade feature star-crossed couples weaving their own fates through magic and intrigue.
